Pizzolungo Trail Capri

One of the most enchanting trails on the Island of Capri is the Pizzolungo path. Along just a few kilometers of coastline, you can admire various shades of the island’s landscape, with views of the Faraglioni rocks and the Sorrento Peninsula from a lesser-known perspective. The journey starts from the charming alleys of the old town center and leads to the Natural Arch, following a path that is sometimes unpaved. The next stop is the Matermania Cave, a fascinating grotto where rituals and sacrifices were once held. The trail ends at the Tragara Belvedere, famous for its stunning view over Marina Piccola bay. From there, through the narrow streets, you reach the Augustus Gardens and finally return to Capri’s Piazzetta.
