Capri Forts Path

The Fortini Path is a spectacular trail suspended between the sea, the rocks, and the Mediterranean scrub, located along the western coast of the Island of Capri, between the Blue Grotto and the Punta Carena Lighthouse. Along this route, you will find the forts of Orrico, Mesola (also called Campetiello), and Pino. This itinerary encapsulates the very essence of the island—its ruggedness and its gentleness—through the three primal elements that shape it: the deep blue sea, both enveloping and overwhelming; the dolomitic rock, which within a few kilometers reveals itself as both welcoming and unforgiving; and the green Mediterranean scrub that adorns the plains and cliffs.
