Path of the Gods loop trail
This excursion will take us to walk and admire one of the most spectacular trails in Italy, the “Path of the Gods,” suspended above the deep blue sea of the Amalfi Coast, offering breathtaking views. Our route starts from Bomerano and continues to the “Grotta Biscotto,” then to the locations of “Lì Cannati” and “Colle Serra,” skirting the sea above Praiano and the convent of St. Dominic. It is an extraordinary itinerary featuring several sources of fresh, drinkable water and numerous panoramic terraces from which you can admire the Faraglioni rocks of Capri Island, the Li Galli Islands, the Lattari Mountains, as well as Praiano and Positano.
In short, it will be an unforgettable experience — a hike along an ancient path carved on cliffs overlooking the sea, immersed in the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, between rural landscapes and sublime scenery, steeped in myths and legends of Greek gods who passed this way to save Ulysses from the sirens. This ancient trail was also celebrated by the writer Italo Calvino as “that road suspended over the magical gulf of the ‘Sirens,’ still sailed today by memory and myth.”
