Our history

“Nonno Luigino” was founded in April 2004 with the aim of transforming a family farming tradition into an innovative model of hospitality and multifunctionality. Drawing on an ancient agricultural heritage passed down through generations, the Caccioppoli family – represented by the young Mauro, Mena, Raffaele, and Luigi together with their parents – made a bold choice: to innovate and expand the existing olive farm.

Thanks to this shared passion, the farm evolved into an agriturismo capable of offering authentic and diverse experiences. Initially focused on dining and accommodation, it soon became a reference point for the Educational Farm, welcoming school groups and visitors with educational programs on food and the environment.

2004

Our Journey

In 2004, the company expanded its activities by processing primary products—mainly fruit, vegetables, and wine—within its own internal workshop. This led to the creation of high-quality preserves and products in oil, distributed under the “Nonno Luigino” brand, a symbol of authenticity and tradition. From the very beginning, it also launched its educational side, with didactic farms and on-site agri-experiences.

In addition, it started its restaurant activity, closely connected to the raw materials of the surrounding area, as well as its hospitality services, offering seven rooms nestled in the greenery.
2011

Borgo Cavalieri: An Innovative Project

Driven by a constant pursuit of innovation and a strong commitment to enhancing the local area, in 2011 the young members of the Caccioppoli family created “Borgo Cavalieri”, a line of natural biocosmetics. This range of products, crafted from agricultural raw materials and plant extracts, represents a harmonious blend of agricultural tradition and modern well-being.

Although it bears its own distinctive brand, “Borgo Cavalieri” remains deeply connected to the agriturismo, embodying the philosophy of sustainability and care that has always defined us.

Store in Vomero

Located in Vomero, at 30 Via Blundo, Nonno Luigino brings its branded products, fresh dairy, and other specialties from the Sorrentine Peninsula to Naples every day.

Fralù Pool: An Oasis of Relaxation

Located within the agriturismo, Fralù Pool was created with the aim of pampering the guests of our seven rooms while also welcoming the general public. It is the perfect setting to enjoy moments of relaxation and fun.
