Comune Mountain "the balcony over the gulfs"

We will walk along one of the most beautiful and evocative trails of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Our itinerary will follow the path from Santa Maria del Castello to Monte Comune (High Route of the Lattari Mountains), running along the cliffside coast above Positano, with stunning views of Praiano and Mount Sant’Angelo a Tre Pizzi.

We will traverse a trail rich in history and tradition, with some rugged, mountainous stretches that will make our trek truly unforgettable. Upon reaching the plateau of Monte Comune (880 meters), we’ll enjoy a breathtaking panorama stretching over the Sorrentine Peninsula, the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno, and the pastures of the Agerolese cow, whose milk is used to produce the DOP Provolone del Monaco cheese.

We’ll stop on the beautiful meadows of Monte Comune, where we can soak in an extraordinary view—an awe-inspiring moment in which the colors of the landscape reflect in the sea, creating a scene so unique and moving that no photo or description could ever do it justice.
